Hellside continues to be worked on, the Asylum is slowly finishing up its construction, CarnEvil's new ending is rumored to have been nearing completion, and Chateau might get a maze makeover! August 22, 2010:
-- Haunt Construction Update
Mangler-Matt snagged some Haunt Construction photos recently. CarnEvil's exterior construction is almost done (minus the facade), Hellside construction has begun, and there are rumors of MCBS construction having already been started. To discuss & view the photo update, click here.

-- Haunt Display Spotted

August 6, 2010:
-- Planet Snoopy Announced for 2011
Valleyfair has announced Planet Snoopy for the 2011 season! Complete with a new gift shop, a remodeled entertainment venue, tons of new rides, and more pavers than you can count, this $9 million dollar expansion will be the largest kids area at Valleyfair, and will be sure to make for a great addition! July 27, 2010:
-- Snoopy's 60th Birthday Bash at Valleyfair

-- Coaster Craze Details Released

-- Coasting For Kids at Valleyfair
Coasting For Kids is coming to Valleyfair? What is Coasting For Kids exactly? It's an event that raises money for Give Kids the World, a fantastic resort type facility that caters to sick and disabled children. To find out more about this fantastic event and cause, click here.

-- 4th of July Weekend
July 4th is known as one of the busiest weekends attendance wise for Valleyfair, but that shouldn't stop you from having a great day at the park! Rides, Soak City, and Fireworks! Sounds like a great combination to us! Also we hope all viewers & readers have a fantastic and safe 4th of July weekend!

-- Rock Band Live Coverage

June 12, 2010:
-- 2011 Hints Popping Up Around Park
There has been a lot of talk regarding 2011 in the Valleyfairzone Community. Between land surveying in Half Pint Park and red markings near Excalibur, there may be something major on the way for 2011! May 29, 2010:
-- Soak City Now Open
Soak City waterpark is now open daily to the public. Check out Breakers Bay, Soak City's newest attraction, or head on over to the other side of the waterpark and take on twists and turns of the Panic Falls slide complex! Soak City is included with admission to Valleyfair, & is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

May 28, 2010:
-- Rock Band Live Coming Soon
Rock Band Live is coming to Valleyfair June 17 through June 27, and we will have some great coverage of this great event! Guests will play Rock Band before the show, and if their skills are up to par, they will have the chance to play up on stage with actual Rock Band Live entertainers! Take part in Rock Band Live, debuting June 17-27 at Valleyfair!

May 15, 2010:
-- Opening Weekend Coverage
Valleyfair is now open for the 2010 Season! We have full coverage from multiple members of the Valleyfairzone Community! From Photos to Trip Reports, and even a couple new Panoramas in Valleyfairzone360, there's a TON to check out!

May 10, 2010:
-- Opening Day is Growing Near
Valleyfair is opening on May 15, 2010 for its 35th season of operation! With the many new changes that have taken place over the offseason, we're expecting the park to look exceptionally different, and overall a lot better! We also have launched our "New for 2010" page that highlights what all is new this season in the park! Take a look!

April 28, 2010:
-- 2010 Park Map Released
The 2010 Park Map has been released on Valleyfair's website. On the map, you will be able to see all of the changes regarding food at Valleyfair! Complete with a Corner Bistro, Subway, and Mama Chetta's Pizza, there are new names and food options all around the park! To check out our eateries page, click here.

April 1, 2010:
-- Live Entertainment Lineup Announced
The Live Entertainment lineup for the 2010 season has been posted on Valleyfair's website! Three new shows are coming to the park this year! The first is called Signed Sealed Delivered and is playing in the Galaxy Theater, Retro Rockit is a new show on the Gazebo Stage, and the Coral Reef Adventure will be playing in IMAX this year! March 24, 2010:
-- Subway coming into Valleyfair for the 2010 Season
Valleyfair updated their "New for 2010" section of the website with the fantastic news that a new restaurant will be added this year. What is it you ask? The worldwide franchise known as Subway! To check out our food page where you can see the newly listed restaurant, click here.

March 22, 2010:
-- Bumper Boats Gone for Good
The Bumper Boats that have officially been removed as of March 22nd. A bulldozer was spotted near the ride as of March 20th, and a majority of the ground work happened on March 22nd. To see a photo on our Twitter account, click here.

March 20, 2010:
-- More Construction Updates
There has been confirmed sightings of brickwork similar to what was done to the Gazebo Stage back in 2008 around the Main Entrance and Carousel Plaza area of the park. Apparently there will be some sort of new sign in this newly renovated plaza area. Stay tuned for more news regarding the 2010 season!

February 29, 2010:
-- Main Entrance Construction Update
There's been construction spotted around the main plaza of Valleyfair. It's been rumored that the front of the park is being repaved, or re-done rather with the same brick pattern that the Gazebo Stage had done late 2008. We aren't 100% positive if this is all accurate, but this is what has been rumored for the past couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more info!

February 24, 2010:
-- 2010 Hours Posted
The 2010 Calendar has been posted on Valleyfair's website. Valleyfair will open for the 2010 Season on May 15th, and close during the Halloween Haunt on October 31st. Soak City Waterpark opens on May 29th, and will close September 6th. To check out all of the hours, click here.

-- Construction Spotted Around Entrance!
It seems that there is some construction or work being done around the main plaza of Valleyfair. New ride? Of course not! What's going on with the plaza? Well we aren't 100% positive, but this topic is available for discussion over at the VFZ Community! Check it out!

The 2010 Valleyfair Admission prices have been posted on Valleyfair's website! We updated our admission/hours page as well with the prices that were posted. To view them, click here. -- The Offseason
The extremely cold, wintery part of the year has started. This season is not known to us as Winter, it's called (and dreaded as) the Offseason. This dragging duration of nearly 7 full months is the period of time in which Valleyfair is closed. To get through the Offseason as painlessly as possible, we're going to try & keep you updated with all that's happening at Valleyfair!
