Shows & Live Entertainment
Valleyfair Family Amusement Park has a wide variety of live shows, that are family friendly, and run quite frequently as well. There are five venues throughout the park, and nearly all are used every year to bring you fabulous live shows, concerts, and events. Listed Below are the Live Shows, Performances, and Concerts of 2011.
 The Gazebo Stage is located between the Hi-Test Arcade and the Galaxy Theater, and features a large stage, along with many covered picnic tables, and is set in a tranquil area of the park. This year at the Gazebo stage is a new show entitled Turn It Up. This show features many popular, current songs that are sure to get the crowd off their feet! |
 The Galaxy Theater was built in 1998, and has been a great venue for many shows, concerts, and performances over the years. Located across from the Gazebo Stage, Galaxy is easily one of the most recognizable buildings at the park, mainly because of the large marquee on the front of the building. For the 2011 season, Rockin' the Galaxy, a brand new show exclusive to the Galaxy Theater is premiering at Valleyfair. With this brand new show featuring fantastic songs, dance numbers, and special effects, this show should be spectacular! |
 The PEANUTS Showplace is a brand new venue at Valleyfair, taking the place of the now defunct Kidworks Stage. Premiering for the 2011 season is a show entitled Charlie Brown's Hoedown. This interactive 25-30 minute long show features catchy songs, crowd interactivity, and of course Snoopy & the PEANUTS Gang! |
 The Imax Theater is located towards the back of the park, and is the largest venue in the park, reaching a nearly 500 guest capacity. Featuring one of the largest theater screens in the state of Minnesota, the IMAX theater has displayed many movies throughout the years. This year, The Ultimate Wave Tahiti is the highlight of the IMAX Theater! Join surfer Kelly Slater and other famous ocean dwellers on the quest to find the perfect wave on the island of Tahiti! |
 The Amphitheater has yet to have any shows on its stage in the past two years. The theater has been used for numerous shows, tribute bands, regular bands, and concerts. For the 2011 season, the Amphitheater will be home to performances from the Johnny Holm Band on August 1st, 7th, 15th, and 22nd! More details can be found here. |
 This year, the Benchwarmerz roam the midways of Valleyfair, playing familiar and fun tunes for the guests' entertainment. |
