Renegade


Ride with a vengeance on Valleyfair's newest wooden roller coaster, Renegade. This massive GCI twister was built in 2007 at a cost of $6 million dollars. This cowboy takes you up a 104 foot lift hill, takes you down a one of a kind twisting S-drop, and throws you through many twists, hops, hills, and turns. Renegade dominates the back of the park with its elegant structure, and its graceful yet wild finale that takes place right by a walkway! This coaster is set towards the back of the park, and is directly across from Whitewater Country Waterpark. Renegade was built fairly recently, so lines are still fairly large on summer days. The wait times for Renegade can be fairly long, ranging from anywhere between 20-45 minutes. We highly recommend arriving early, and heading to ride Renegade first due to these long wait times. The best seats are easily the back and front seats, but like most of Valleyfair's coasters, any seat still delivers a fantastic ride. So make sure to check out Renegade when you are at Valleyfair!
