Trip Planner:If you are planning to go to Valleyfair, you may need some tips, whether you're a coaster enthusiast, or a first timer. First, you need to classify yourself under one of the following categories.

If you've classified yourself under the adult category, you are a person who goes to the park for thrills. Most likely, you will want to ride the biggest rides such as Power Tower, Wild Thing, and Renegade. To start of the day, you can do whatever you want. Most likely, you will want to go to Renegade, which because it is a new roller coaster, will have long lines as the park grows busier. After you ride the first ride, you're free to go about the park.

Some rides you may want to try if you were a thrill seeker are Wild Thing, Power Tower, Riptide, Chaos, Enterprise, Steel Venom, Excalibur, Corkscrew, High Roller, and Xtreme Swing. These are some of the rides that are for the braver riders. Most of the rides that were listed have moderate lines on any given day. The longest line you may experience will probably be for Corkscrew, High Roller, or Xtreme Swing. If you are going for a unique experience, you may want to try Xtreme Swing, Riptide, and Renegade. Those are some of the stand out attractions for the park. Most importantly, you should ride everything that you want to ride, no matter how long the line, so when you leave the park, there are no regrets.

If you've classified yourself under the family category, you are with your family, or you have a family that you are taking to the park for the day. If you have younger children, who don't want to do the big rides, Valleyfair has perfect rides for them. Valleyfair has an amazing amount of family rides that are suited for this type of category. They have Balloon Race, Monster, Ferris Wheel, High Roller, Flume, Hydroblaster, Thunder Canyon, Supercat, Mad Mouse, and many more! Almost all of these rides never have long lines, with the exception of High Roller and Mad Mouse, which lines can get long for. If you and your family are at Valleyfair, just to spend the day and have fun, you'll have no problem keeping busy!

If you've classified yourself under the children's category, you have smaller children that are just at the park for tiny thrills. Valleyfair has a variety of kiddie rides available. In fact, there's three sections of the park dedicated to young children. Corkscrew Tot Spot, which has a variety of small circular rides, that rotate slowly, and KidWorkz, a fun interactive part of the park, that has a collection of smaller rides as well. The main attraction at KidWorkz is the Foam Ball Factory. A fun multi-leveled indoor structure complete with blasters that shoot foam balls all around! Other attractions at KidWorkz feature Rockin' Tug, a unique spinning experience, KidWorkz train, a mini train that takes you around this section of the park, and Woodline Express, a tree that has a slide at the top of it, that kids can slide down over and over again. At last there's Half Pint Park which has many smaller rides dedicated to children. At Valleyfair, you'll have no problem finding the right thing for your children.
